the process

At Insidesign, our goal is to make the process of planning and designing your home interior simple, satisfying and, most important, personal. It’s a process that happens in just three appointments, starting with the idea session.

Step One – Inspiration

During this initial consultation, you’ll work with one of our interior designers to establish an overall architectural style for your home. To guide your decision, our designer will ask you a series of questions about your preferences, like whether you’re drawn to cool or warm colors and if you enjoy cooking and entertaining. You’ll also have the opportunity to explore a variety of design and finish options firsthand in our store.

Step Two – Selection

After you’ve defined your style, you’ll capture it on computer, using our exclusive MyDesign™ interactive software. This second appointment is where the fun really begins. It’s when you get to unleash your inner decorator and decide what appeals to you. As you make your selections—choosing from custom wood cabinetry, millwork, doors, hardwood flooring, staircases and fireplace mantels—you can watch your vision take photo-realistic shape one room at a time.

Step Three – Confirmation

For that final personalized touch, you come in for your third appointment, when we put your vision into action. Working with your architect or builder, we’ll coordinate delivery times and provide necessary installation services. Before you know it, you’ll be surrounded with the beauty of solid craftsmanship, the warmth of natural wood materials and a design that’s distinctly your own.
